Terms of Service

The Family Post Project, operated by The Family Post Project, LLC

Last updated: 10/29/2026

By signing up for The Family Post Project, you agree to these terms.

1. What we provide

The Family Post Project is a subscription that mails you a printed letter from our family each month.

2. Plans and billing

- Monthly plans are charged $12 on the day you sign up and then every month on that date until you cancel.

- Prepaid plans (3, 6, and 12 months) are paid once, up front, and do not renew automatically. When your plan ends, your letters stop unless you choose to sign up again.

- Prices may change. We will give you at least 30 days' notice by email before a price change applies to you.

- Payments are processed securely by Squarespace Payments (Stripe). We never see or store your full card number.

3. Mailing schedule

We mail letters on the 18th of every month. Sign up by the 14th and your first letter, our introduction, goes out that month. Sign up after the 14th and it goes out the following month.

4. Delivery

Letters are sent by USPS and usually arrive between the 20th and the 31st. We cannot control postal delays. If your letter has not arrived by the 1st of the following month, contact us and we will send a replacement. Please keep your mailing address up to date. We cannot replace letters sent to an old address that you did not tell us about.

5. Cancellation and refunds

- Monthly plans can be canceled anytime. You will still receive any letters you have paid for, and you will not be charged going forward.

- Prepaid plans cannot be canceled or refunded mid-term because they are paid up front. You will receive all the letters you paid for, and the plan ends when the term ends.

- To cancel, or to change your address or payment method, use the contact form on our website or email info@thefampost.com.

6. Gifts

Gift plans run for 3, 6, or 12 months and end after that term. The person buying the gift provides the recipient's name and mailing address.

7. Our content

The letters and everything on this website belong to us. They are meant for your personal enjoyment. Please do not post or republish them publicly without our permission, since they share private moments from our family.

8. Limits of our responsibility

We provide the service "as is." To the extent the law allows, our responsibility to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the problem happened. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the law that cannot be waived.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date above shows when they were last changed.
