What we collect

- Your name, email address, mailing address, phone number (optional), and birthday (optional), so we can mail your letters and celebrate with you.

- If you buy a gift: the recipient's name, mailing address, and, if you choose to share them, their email, phone number, and birthday.

- Payment information, which is handled securely by Squarespace Payments (Stripe). We never see or store your full card number.

- Messages you send us through our contact form or by email.

- Basic website information, such as which pages are visited, collected through cookies and analytics tools built into our website platform.

How we use your information

- To mail your letters and manage your plan.

- To process payments, send receipts, and respond to your questions.

- To send you occasional emails, such as updates about your letters and invitations to continue when your plan is ending. Every marketing email includes a way to unsubscribe.

- To personalize your experience, for example around birthdays, and, in the future, to ask what topics matter most to you through optional surveys.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information. We share it only with services we use to run the business, such as our website and payment providers, email tools, and any printing or mailing service we use. They may use your information only to provide services to us. We may also share information if the law requires it.

Gift recipients

When you buy a gift, we do not contact the recipient before the gift arrives, so the surprise stays safe. After the gift arrives, we may email the recipient to invite them to continue. They can unsubscribe at any time.

Your choices

You can ask us to see, correct, or delete your information, or to stop sending you emails, at any time by using our contact form or emailing info@thefampost.com. We may keep certain records as needed for taxes, accounting, or legal reasons.

Security and retention

We use reasonable measures to protect your information, but no system is perfectly secure. We keep your information while your plan is active and for as long afterward as we need it for legal or business reasons.

Children

Our service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update it on this page and change the date above.
